ways of being | Fahrer’s new collection guided by bioinspiration The collection begins with an observation of nature’s organizational strategies to explore relationships between material, structure, and form. Ways of supporting, connecting, protecting, adapting, and occupying space inform pieces in which form emerges through research and experimentation with materials and construction processes. Wood, marble, glass, mirror, textiles, and leather offer different possibilities of texture, transparency, and reflection. Systems of interlocking, layering, and modularity allow for compositions that respond to the scale and use of each space.
